I didn’t write anything new this weekend, but what I’m giving you here is a dive into the behind the scenes. The seedy underbelly of HCAD, populated by all of the stories too shocking, too vile, and (more often than not) too shitty to see the light of day… until now. This was a story that I started writing back during the dark ages of the 2016 election, back when the Republican field still numbered in the double digits. I don’t even remember exactly what I was ultimately going for, but it was something about Ron Paul/Rand Paul fans arguing in the style of movie or video game fans on a forum and, likewise, was formatted like a forum post. I think it was a decent idea, but I ultimately scrapped it for something else equally terrible (Barty Randerson, maybe? I don’t remember the timeline very well.) Well, either way, enjoy, I guess.

Okay, guys. Let me ask you this; IF YOU HATE THE NEW PAUL THEN WHY DO YOU GET ON THIS FORUM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I get that all of you Ron fanboys can’t see past your rose tinted nostalgia goggles and accept that the Rand is newer, more relevant, and better looking than than that old piece of trash. Face it; politicians grow and evolve as the years go by and it’s about time that the GOP gave a fresh spin on the Paul brand.

Come on, Rand kids, you know how this always turns out. You guys whine about how Ron is “old” and “irrelevant”, we come in and tear you to shreds, then you go back and hide in your holes for a couple of days until another one of you feels like bitching again. The reason we don’t like the NEW Paul is that he is completely against the spirit of the OLD Paul. Ron is a libertarian and a true patriot, Rand is just watered down diet Ron and a fucking GOP lapdog. They just keep him around and yell out PAUL as loud as they can to win over the Ron Paul supporters stupid enough to fall for their garbage. I wish Ron passed down some of his common sense instead of just his dashing good looks.

Oh please. The old Paul was a alzheimers ridden isolationist and all of his supporters were high schoolers or Tea Party members. All you Ron supporters can pile up in a bunker and hide from the rest of the world as all of the sane people get shit done. If Ron got elected then people would be running around naked shooting up heroin while ISIS blows up the middle east and Joesph Kony STILL rampages across Africa unopposed.
