Subscribe Now, Yo

My sources tell me that having a subscription button (as HCAD has on the sidebar) is like, an okay thing, but you should never underestimate the power of actually asking. So I guess I’ll do this: Anyone wanna subscribe to Home Clipart Animal Deer’s posts? It’s really fun and easy and you’ll be able to read all the coolest posts by the HCAD crew.

(Also, leaving feedback on our site is 100% the best thing you can do; we have been operating for about five months blind and have little to go off of in terms of what kind of content people like, dislike, etc. and it’d be good to know that stuff.)

The Welcome-ing

The Welcome-ing

It’s been nearly a week since the last post, but now we’re finally back! Home Clipart Animal Deer is here, and not at all hungover from various Christmas and/or Boxing Day parties.

Now that we’re here on the new .wordpress.com-less website, we can do a lot more cool things, like post some more stories. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. Stay tuned for more stuff.

Also coming at you soon will be a bit of a shakeup of the site to start the new year. We’ll talk about that… next week. There may be anime involved but that’s not decided just yet.

This is it: Welcome!

This is it: Welcome!

There’s a storm coming… The storm, of course, is the storm of a new week of HCAD Posts!

It’s Thanksgiving Week, which of course means you’ll be with your families, maybe, and maybe not have enough time to be reading our various stories and other things. But hopefully you’ll eschew any notions of the traditional Thanksgiving Week and decide to come eat turkey with us, metaphorically of course. The turkey is a metaphor for reading stories.

This week, we’ll be posting more stories as usual, and our Movie Club essay will be on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, as you could probably have guessed. So hit that subscribe button, or constantly refresh the site to give us more page views, and strap yourself in for Home Clipart Animal Deer: Week 12!

Welcome… Again???

Welcome… Again???

Hey, all of you people returning to read our garbage! I hope you’re excited for the garbage we have in store for you this week. For those of you not familiar with this blog, we post garbage every day (except that one day last week) for you to read. I don’t exactly know off the top of my head what’s going on this week, but you can bet your ass that it’s going to be the best ever. Probably some clipart stories. Probably some presidential election stories. Probably some other things, too, like The Project and probably some stupid scripts I’ll write on the bus. Like, tons of things, basically. And I’ll be writing roughly half of those things. The other rough half is going to be written by the other person who writes things for this thing. Prepare yourself.

Welcome Post!!!!!!

Welcome Post!!!!!!

Alright, guys. Buckle in. ‘cuz you’re in for another weeklong bumpy ride… ON THE HOME CLIPART ANIMAL DEER EXPERIENCE. We have stories about Donald Trump. We’ve got stories about the other guys who nobody but us gives a shit about. We have a joke script for Lethal Weapon 5 that I started writing before I knew about the It’s Always Sunny joke, I swear. We have… other miscellany????? Hooooooooooh, boy, this is gonna be good. Stick around, you won’t wanna miss a second.

Coming This Weekend: Kuttsukiboshi x Madoka Magica!

Coming This Weekend: Kuttsukiboshi x Madoka Magica!

While I’m still reposting The Madoka Series every week on this site, I’m also about to gear up and begin posting the latest story in the series, “Kuttsukiboshi x Madoka Magica: Prelude to Caribbean Rim.” It’s going to be posted weekly on both fanfiction.net and archiveofourown, and eventually on here too, once we catch up, starting on 10/3, or this Saturday.

It’ll be the first time any story in The Madoka Series is posted serially on any fan fiction site, as previously, I simply dumped each story onto the sites all at once. So it’s going to be really exciting. I encourage you to start hyping it up as much as possible, pressing F5 at every possible instance until it releases at some point during the day.

Once we catch up on Madoka on HCAD, the rest of the series will be posted on here Saturdays, alongside the other sites’ releases, rather than on Thursdays like it is now. Which of course means that Thursday will be wide-open to some other stupid content instead of Madoka reposts. I don’t know what it will be, yet, but rest assured we will probably come up with something by then, since it will be apparently mid-November.

Anyway, you better be ready for some Madoka, because it’s coming really quickly!

Note on Madoka Magica Reposts

Note on Madoka Magica Reposts

To make it worthwhile to be reposting all these stories, I am going to start adding commentary for each chapter of each of these dumb Madoka stories in the comments section of each post. I’ll also go back and add commentary to the ones already posted, though all of this will probably take place sometime next week. Will this give invaluable insight into the human spirit and help aspiring writers with discovering the spark within them that will make them truly great? I can’t say for sure, but we have to try.

Welcome, It’s Now… Week 2!

Welcome, It’s Now… Week 2!

I hope you have all enjoyed the first week of Home Clipart Animal Deer! The second week will hopefully be just as enjoyable; we have a lot planned for the next couple weeks, and we hope you’re ready for all of it.

Just to recap our schedule a little bit:

Monday – President Story

Tuesday – Clipart Story

Wednesday – President Story, a Good Band Name

Thursday – Madoka Magica repost, Clipart Story

Friday – President Story, and soon, another regularly-scheduled feature

Saturday – The Project serial

Sunday – ????

Sunday is the only day where we have no regularly-scheduled content as of now. And because of that, we’ll be open to any suggestions about what strange stuff we can post on that day. We will always try to post something every single day, even when we don’t have anything set, though it’d be nice to have anything set for Sundays.

Anyway, we still have several good posts lined up for you, and some of them are pretty damn good, so look forward to that.
